Fellow Brethren (Actives and Alumni),

Mark your calendars now to save the date for the weekend of October 16-18, 2009 for the Acacia 2009 homecoming and GRAND RE-OPENING of the Chapter House events!  Come to catch up with old brothers, meet the new members of the house, and see the newly renovated house, which is amazing (link to pictures below)!  This will be a family friendly atmosphere so feel free to bring your spouse and/or kids with you!

More specific details of the events are currently in the process of being formalized but below is a schedule of the events, so you can appropriately schedule your time.  Please feel free to bring significant others and family members to share with them the Acacia experience.  Feel free to stop by some or all the events below.

7:30 pm Friday Oct. 16: Meet at Der Rathskeller (Terrace if weather permits) in the Memorial Union then off to other fine drinking establishments (don’t worry if you arrive late – we will have cell phone numbers and maybe even be tweeting by then!  So, you can join us as we travel!)

8:00 am Saturday Oct 17: Pre-game actives still TBD (probably an open-house at Acacia with breakfast and beverages served, along with tours of the newly renovated house by current members)

11:00 am Saturday Oct. 17: Kickoff the Wisconsin Badger versus Iowa Hawkeyes

2:30 pm Saturday Oct. 17: After game actives TBD (probably a grill out and tours are the House).

So mark your calendars, book your hotel room, buy your tickets, www.stubhub.com, contact other brothers to join-in and most importantly get excited.
