Acacia Fraternity renovation, new building planned
The Alexander Co. in Madison plans to renovate the 81-year-old Acacia Fraternity, near the UW-Madison campus, as apartments and build a four-story apartment building behind it.
The 23 high-end units in both buildings at Langdon Street and Lakelawn Place will be known as Vesta Apartments, scheduled for occupancy next August. The estimated project cost is $6.5 million.
Apartments will be furnished with amenities that include wood floors, ceramic tile floors in the kitchens and bathrooms and stainless-steel appliances.
